I actually wore this outfit last Friday night. It was perfect for the warm DC night. I think that I have found my DC dive bar. I love it. I’d share it with you, but I think I’ll save that for if you come visit DC! This last weekend has been a blast, I am so lucky to have such fun people to hang out with. I’m still trying to get settled in, it’s hard when I know the place I am living in currently is just a sublet. The apartment hunt has begun and it is not fun at all! I can’t wait to find a new apartment. One of the big things I would like is a larger kitchen.
I feel like everyone has a couple things they want for their ideal place… whether it be a house, apartment, bungalow or mansion. Ha, I’d love to have all 4!
I wore a forever 21 blouse, american apparel chiffon skirt and cynthia vincent for target wedges.
Hope everyone is having a good week so far!

If you follow me on twitter, you know that last week, I attended a very sweet concert in Chicago’s very own Millennium Park featuring She and Him. The band comprised of Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward. I had no idea that everyone in Chicago ALSO loved She and Him, but then again, I should have known since I am completely and unabashedly in love with Zooey Deschanel and listen to She and Him constantly.

The other day I went to a community forum on water privatization. It was held at the Chopin Theater on Division on the west side. The topic was very interesting and incredibly important for the city of Chicago, but I was enthralled by the vintage decor.
It felt like I had stepped into a time warp.
[sandals were not vintage (they’re cynthia vincent for target!)]
Let me tell you it was an adventure finding the Cynthia Vincent collection. Seriously, everything was pretty much gone everywhere, and online. I woke up late. Typical. And when I checked Target’s website, everything was basically sold out except for maybe size 11.
