Last Sunday I went to this place for brunch called Taste in Broad Ripple. Interestingly enough, their food was good and tasted good. But, their service was lacking. We waited 50 minutes from ordering our food to getting it served to our table. I’m not really sure what their malfunction is, but they’re just losing business by not serving more of their food to more people! Anyways, here are some photos of what we had for your viewing pleasure.

Now I’m hungry again.

Wedding Weekend

This past weekend I left DC for the midwest, and landed in Indianapolis, Indiana for a friend’s wedding. I have to say, this is the first wedding of my friend’s my year to get married. The couple that was married are very well matched, and of course they were the first us all of us to marry. I’m happy I was able to come back to the midwest for their ceremony and celebrate their big day with them!

The wedding ceremony was at the Indiana Statehouse, which was beautiful inside.

This is the best shot of the bride’s dress I could get. :[

The reception was such a blast, it was fun to see so many of our friends! We had cupcakes instead of cake (which I totally loved.) They also had a CANDY BAR! Overall I had a really fun time. I’m sad I don’t know when I will see everyone in one place again!

I wore a dress from Forever 21 and Sam Edelman shoes.

a picture a day

In the spirit of Halloween and the fall, here is one of my favorite group pictures.

It’s me and some friends during Breakfast club at Purdue. If you haven’t read my post about Purdue, Breakfast club is where everybody old enough to go to the bars dresses up in halloween costumes and drinks the morning of our home football games. Breakfast club is my favorite Purdue tradition. Boiler Up!
