This past weekend I left DC for the midwest, and landed in Indianapolis, Indiana for a friend’s wedding. I have to say, this is the first wedding of my friend’s my year to get married. The couple that was married are very well matched, and of course they were the first us all of us to marry. I’m happy I was able to come back to the midwest for their ceremony and celebrate their big day with them!
The wedding ceremony was at the Indiana Statehouse, which was beautiful inside.

The reception was such a blast, it was fun to see so many of our friends! We had cupcakes instead of cake (which I totally loved.) They also had a CANDY BAR! Overall I had a really fun time. I’m sad I don’t know when I will see everyone in one place again!
I wore a dress from Forever 21 and Sam Edelman shoes.
