Playing Catch Up

I left for home late Tuesday afternoon and haven’t been able to get online because I don’t have internet at my parents place! I’m finally in a coffee shop now, so I thought I would update.

This outfit kept me warm while I rode home in the car. Unfortunately I should have definitely worn socks.. and warmer shoes!! We drove straight through the night from DC to Chicago and made it in about 12 hours arriving at 4:30 am Wednesday morning! What a ride! What do you wear for long road trips?

My Daily Routine

I thought I’d post about what I use daily for my “makeup routine.” I don’t feel like I wear that much, but when I laid it all down on my dresser, it’s a lot of product!

new toys

I went shopping last week with one of my closest friends, we found some really good deals at.. the outlet mall! I’m so serious everything was crazy on sale too…

I haven’t been shopping in real life since… well probably September which makes it a good… 4 months or so? I do a lot of browsing on the web, but it’s never ever going to be a replacement for going to a bona fide shop… with salespeople and display windows…

I got a couple new things which I am really excited about, but these two are what I most excited about… see the pics after the jump!

through these dreary cold winter months there are a few things everyday that brightens my spirits and helps get me through my days. really just cant wait for these gray days to be over and for the springtime to come. i need more colors to get through the days. so here are a few of my favorite things.

wearing a blazer to work is common for me. i love this blazer because it is WOOL and super warm for the winter! plus its cut and fit are great.. thank you mary kate and ashley olsen for designing it. it’s my new favorite piece to my wardrobe! plus i got it from gilt groupe, if you need an invite click here. it’s a great site with sample sales of the hottest new designers.
